REx 1 is a database that contains the contents of more than 80 individual reports, each one detailing a separate study of writing. As a genre, reports differ from the traditional articles or chapters we read in journals, monographs, and edited collections of scholarship. Each full report includes six sections: general information, principal investigators, project team and support, study details, reflections and outcomes, and related files. (For more information, visit the REx glossary.)
Given the uniqueness of the REx report, using a typical keyword search may not always yield the most robust results. Instead, to make the most of this resource, we encourage you to search REx 1 the following ways:
- By research methods;
- By project type;
- By funding type and means of support;
- By field; or
- By key words and phrases.
In addition, it is possible to view a list of all projects with IRB approval as well as a complete list of projects included in REx 1.
